Doug Flutie gave half his bonus to a char­i­ta­ble foun­da­tion hon­or­ing fel­low quar­ter­back Jim Kelly’s son, Hunter, who was suf­fer­ing from a neu­ro­log­i­cal dis­or­der. Flutie heeded Kelly’s advice by using the remain­ing $12,500 to launch a foun­da­tion named for his son, Doug Jr., who is autistic.
