Harvard Pilgrim, Oldies 103 and SHADE spreading the word about sun safety at the Temptations summer concert at the Hatch Shell Boston Saturday August 12th.
An estimated 30,000 people turned out to hear the Temptations evening concert. During the hot day people waited in the hot sun to get a prime viewing position for the evening concert. SHADE gave out Blue Lizard Sunscreen to concert goers, Shonda addressed the audience twice on the dangers of Sun exposure. A long line formed at the SHADE, Harvard Pilgrim tent where Shonda Schilling spent 90 mins talking one on one to people whose lives have been touched by Skin Cancer. Next to Shonda were nurses with Derma scan machines counseling people on sun damage to their skin.
