Event Description

The Festival of Trees, SHADE Foundation’s fifth annual hol­i­day din­ner and gift auc­tion, ben­e­fits the chil­dren and com­mu­ni­ties of Arizona. This year’s event begins with the Holiday Tree Festival, pre­sent­ing a col­lec­tion of beau­ti­ful themed and lit trees, cre­ated and dec­o­rated by tal­ented pro­fes­sional design­ers and Interior Design stu­dents from Scottsdale Community College.

The Festival con­cludes with our fab­u­lous Gala Dinner and Holiday Gift Auction! This delight­ful sea­sonal event is a tra­di­tion at the Millennium Resort and raises much needed money for SHADE’s sig­na­ture pro­grams to pro­mote sun safety edu­ca­tion and com­mu­nity aware­ness about skin can­cer risk, pre­ven­tion and detection.

  • Admission is FREE for indi­vid­u­als or small fam­ily groups
  • Group admis­sion: groups of 10 or more should call the Festival office at 480.614.2278 to sched­ule arrangements.

Opening Night Reception – November 26, 6 – 8 PM

  • Admission is by invi­ta­tion only
  • For Sponsors, VIPs, media and invited guests only.
  • An oppor­tu­nity to pre­view the trees and meet with the pro­fes­sional and stu­dent designers.
  • Event pre­sented by Millennium Resort and the Pinon Grill.
