CONGRATULATIONS!

  • The fourth annual poster contest closed on July 31, 2006
  • Total number of poster contestant entries to date: 40,000+
  • Total of number of votes cast –approximately 5,000.
  • Over 32,000 visitors to SHADE Foundation website in July.
  • We recorded hits from around the world, and including 36 countries in addition to the United States and Canada.

Thank you to all the participants including teachers, students, parents, and voters everywhere.

Every poster entrant will receive a UV sensitive color changing bracelet. Every participating school will receive a certificate signed by Shonda Schilling.

Grand Prize winners from each state will be entered into a national web based competition to be held July 1 through July 31, 2006. Contestants’ posters will be judged on-line by the public. On-line voters will be entered into a drawing as an incentive to vote. The overall National Poster Contest winner will receive a Disney trip for four. MORE DETAILS TO COME, so stay tuned!
