Kari Worth’s 70 Mile Walk for Skin Cancer

From May 1 – 5, Kari Worth and her father will walk 70 miles from her home in Napa to her oncologist’s office in San Francisco to cel­e­brate her fifth anniver­sary of being diag­nosed with stage IV melanoma and liv­ing can­cer free. Kari is rais­ing funds for four skin can­cer research and aware­ness char­i­ties includ­ing SHADE Foundation of America.Kari Worth, walking to raise money for skin cancer research in San Francisco.

Kari will begin in Napa on May 1st, walk to Sonoma for the first night, then on to Novato for night num­ber two. They will spend their third night in San Rafael, and a fourth in the Marin Headlands. On Monday May 5th
(nation­ally rec­og­nized as “Melanoma Monday’), Kari will walk across the Golden Gate Bridge into San Francisco, over Pacific Heights, and to California Pacific Medical Center to deliver a bot­tle of bub­bly to Dr. David Minor, her oncologist.
