SunWise Day at Fenway Park
On May 18, 2008, SHADE Foundation of America celebrated SunWise Day at Fenway Park by recognizing the New England state winners of the 2008 SHADE National Poster Contest. The winning students from Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont were recognized on the field, received personalized t-shirts with pictures of their state winning posters on them, and had the opportunity to meet Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling, and SHADE President Shonda Schilling. Also, the overall New England poster winner from Massachusetts got the opportunity to throw out the first pitch before the Boston Red Sox game against the Milwaukee Brewers.
