Recognition Awards

The SHADE Foundation honors those who have gone above the call of duty to educate those around them about the purpose of SHADE - to eradicate melanoma through the education of children and the community in the prevention and detection of skin cancer and the promotion of sun safety.

SHADE Foundation’s Hall of Fame

SHADE Foundation of America would like to give special recognition to those who truly represent what our organization means. During fall/winter 2006 we will give honor to those who we feel meet these high expectations. We will be accepting nominations beginning in August 2006 for the following categories:

  • Outstanding Volunteer for SHADE
  • SunWise with SHADE School of the Year
  • SunWise with SHADE Educator of the Year
  • SunWise with SHADE Nurse of the Year
  • Outstanding Community Partner
  • Outstanding Corporate Partner
  • Outstanding Government Partner
  • Outstanding Dermatologist
