• The ozone layer forms a thin shield high up in the sky - what does this shield do?  A: It protects life on Earth from the sun's ultraviolet (UV) rays.
• What is SPF?  A: Sun Protection Factor.
• When should you apply sunscreen?  A: Apply sunscreen 20 minutes before going outdoors.
• What time of day has the highest UV rays reaching the ground? A: From 10am to 4pm.
• Can UV radiation damage your skin even if you do not sunburn?  A: Yes.
